3rd Data Privacy & Protection Conference

International experience, practical solutions, cases, examples and opportunities which are emerging from the institutional data protection framework; were the content of the 3rd Data Privacy & Protection Conference, which was successfully completed on June 14th.

The End is the Beginning

In the year 2016, GDPR had not yet become a trending topic in the B2B media and few were the relevant business events. It was the year that Boussias Communication organized the first Data Privacy & Protection Conference, the event that foresaw before everyone the strategic importance of GDPR, into and beyond the regulatory framework.

Nowadays, the conference is established as one of the most respectable data privacy events of the European market; the President of IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals), distinguished DPOs from organizations such as John Lewis and GE and experts who advise the EU officers on the data privacy framework has participated in the conference as keynote speakers.

On the day after the Cambridge Analytica incident, the 3rd Data Privacy & Protection Conference professes that the 25 May 2018 is not the… end of regulatory compliance, but the beginning of a new data privacy & digital ethics culture.
